In it's Default Legal Status, the product will not apply any patch to games console Bios or Controller.   9. You undertake that all details you provide to www.techso.co.uk for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.
  10. If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform www.techso.co.uk as soon as possible.
  11. Your statutory rights are not affected (in particular see below as to your rights to withdraw from the contract) but otherwise all purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable.
  12. You may cancel your order at any time prior to your order being processed by email or by post.
    You may also withdraw from the contract at any time after the product has been dispatched and you have received our email confirming your order but no later than 7 working days from the day after you receive the product by:
    12.1 sending the notice of cancellation by email to us ensuring that you quote your name, address and order reference number;
    and/or
    12.2 where you have already received the goods, returning the goods to www.techso.co.uk unopened together with the original invoice within 7 working days from the date that you received the goods.
    www.techso.co.uk will then refund you the purchase price of the goods.

Once www.techso.co.uk receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms) any sum debited to www.techso.co.uk from your credit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit card account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the goods you wish to return are received by www.techso.co.uk in the condition that they were in when delivered to you.
Liability

NOTHING IN THIS CLAUSE AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.

  8. All electrical products are covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty. If your product develops a fault while under warranty, please contact www.techso.co.uk and we will advise you where to send it for repair. It is a "return to base" warranty therefore there will be a delivery charge to return the product back to the relevant UK service centre.
Processing of orders
  1. Credit and Debit cards are debited before items are shipped by www.techso.co.uk. All prices include sales taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated. Shipping is charged on a weight basis, and can be altered at any time without notice.
  2. www.techso.co.uk aim to arrange shipment of all in stock items within 48 hours of receiving your order. Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock with our suppliers. Some items may be unavailable and the current stock status is approximate. www.techso.co.uk are not able to supply dates our suppliers may get an item in stock.
  3. You can keep track of your order status yourself on-line with the order tracking facility on your account page. Our standard Returns Policy applies to all purchases from www.techso.co.uk.
Delivery/Title/Risk
  1. The period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation. Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments.
  2. Title to any product ordered will pass to you once www.techso.co.uk has received payment in full for that product.
  3. If your delivery address is outside of the U.K. you maybe subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; www.techso.co.uk advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.
  4. From time to time www.techso.co.uk may engage a 3rd party to fulfil orders, a contract for the sale of these products will be made between the 3rd party supplier and yourself.
  5. Please note that when shipping products internationally you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
  6. For Christmas Deliveries we recommend that you order by the 18th December. We will endeavour to dispatch all 'In stock' orders within 24 hours, however we cannot guarantee delivery on or before the 24th December as the post may be delayed in your area.
Miscellaneous
  1. It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. www.techso.co.uk uses paypal and nochex to track the electronic 'fingerprints' of every order placed on www.techso.co.uk to enable them and us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.

Returns

We are confident that you will be delighted with your product and our service but if you find it necessary to return a defective item, we have an efficient process to expedite your return request.

You can return any product up to 30 days after the invoice date. We will not accept any return after 30 days from the purchased date. Any product returned must be in resalable condition. Products returned to us in not resalable condition will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.

You are responsible for all shipping costs when returning item(s) to us. We will incur all shipping fees for any defective item(s) replaced.
This applies to all returns without exception.

Any goods returned within the allowed 30 day period due to purchaser error or returned products evaluated not to be faulty are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. We do not credit any shipping and handling costs. You will be given a choice between store credit or product exchange for all non-defective returned merchandise. We reserve the right to determine whether or not a product is defective. This applies to all sales without exception. If the returned product is verified faulty:
The product will be replaced or repaired as soon as possible. If the item is no longer available, it will be replaced with an equivalent or higher specification product. You are entitled to a refund (within 30 days of purchase) for the total value of the your order minus any shipping fees (applies to verified defective returned merchandise only). You may also request store credit to use towards a future purchase. If the returned product is verified as working:
The product will be shipped back to you as soon as possible. In this case, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs which can be paid by credit card, bank transfer, check or money order. You are entitled to a refund (within 30 days of purchase) for the total value of the your order less shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee (applies to verified working returned merchandise). If you received free shipping on original order, upon return you will be assessed the original shipping cost incurred by ModChip.com.
Any item that is verified as working, and has been soldered upon is NOT eligible for a refund.
Any item that is in not resalable condition for another reason is NOT eligible for a refund.
